THE UNITED STATES

God has richly blessed America with unprecedented freedoms for the common man. God has especially blessed America with a Constitution guaranteeing freedom of speech, press, worship and the right to assemble—as well as great material wealth, natural resources and technology. This has served God's purpose is promoting the light of the gospel message throughout the world. But does God consider the United States a Holy Nation? Will God always bless America? The Bible teaches that God's Holy Nation is not of any government of this earth. (1 Peter 2:9) Each child of God has a spiritual unity with their fellow Christians no matter what country they are from. Their warfare should not be against other nations of this world. Their warfare is against their real enemies—worldly influences, their own fleshly weaknesses and the devil.
